Do you run alone or want that extra protection while you run? Then Running Safe is perfect for you.
The main purpose of Running Safe is to help keep runners safe. This is done by checking the maximum speed, stop time, and feet off route constantly while the runner is running. What makes this app unique is that unlike other apps where you have to check in every so often, this app will only automatically alert your buddies if an alert is triggered.
This app allows you to set three types of alerts to watch for while you run. If an alert is triggered during your run, your phone will vibrate for 15 seconds, then all of your buddies will be notified via email and or text with your location or a link to your live tracking session.
What will this app watch for?
• The first is Maximum Speed.
Settings the maximum speed is ideal for ensuring the runner isnt in an automobile.
• The second is Maximum Stop Time.
Setting the maximum stop time makes sure the runner hasnt been stopped for too long, when you know they should be running.
• The third is Maximum Feet off Route.
Setting this makes sure the runner is within a certain range from a prerecorded route.
•Every alert can be adjusted according to your needs or even disable.
•Running Safe also allows live tracking so friends can view your current run for free via our website www.Runsafeapp.com/Tracking. It works great for marathons and relay races such as Ragnar.
•You can even use Running Safe on your walk home from work or school.
